How to Use and Install the GPL Vault Automatic Update Plugin

It’s simple. Download and install our plugin and enter your API Key in the Settings. Any time an update is available, you’ll receive a notification in your WordPress dashboard with the ability to one-click update. Go to API Downloads in the side menu and click the download link. This will download the GPL Vault Updater plugin:

You will now see a menu item called GPL Vault with 3 sub menus. Plugins, Themes and Settings.

Click Settings and you will see a place to enter the API Master Key and Product ID.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1093336″ img_size=”large” style=”vc_box_shadow” onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]Your API Key and Product ID can be found in your account under the API Keys heading (you will have also received them by email when you subscribed)

Hit the ‘Save Changes’ button and you should be good to go, as denoted by the green ticks.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1093335″ img_size=”large” style=”vc_box_shadow” onclick=”zoom”][vc_column_text]You will also notice in the plugin settings that there’s a tab called ‘License Deactivation.’ This is in the event that you decide to move the plugin to another site. You can deactivate the API key on that site and then reactivate it on another. You can also do this via the ‘My Account’ page on GPL Vault.
