Hello everyone. As you may know, each month we run a requests page where you can vote for what plugins or themes you would like to see added to GPL Vault.
Last month Beaver Themer and Monster Insights were added to the site. Well, this months clear leader was AutomateWoo which has now been added. The battle for 2nd place just went to Ultimate Member with Main WP squeezed into 3rd place. If you voted for Main WP please don’t be put off voting again this month. AutomateWoo came 3rd the month before and it’s now on the site!
As part of a side project we were doing we have also acquired the Social Warfare plugin which is rather nice and also some extra Storefront Extensions as well as a renewal of the Storefront PowerPack license. They’re also now on the site. We hope you enjoy them.
We also just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for your continued support.
We are one of a very small number of GPL sites (probably count them on 3 fingers) that actually buy the plugins ourselves. It costs us money to do so but we can sleep at night knowing that our customers have 100% original products on their sites. Unfortunately the vast majority of other GPL sites that you see popping up from time to time, including some of the more well known ones, are simply hitching a ride and using a site like GPL Vault to stock their own sites.
Unfortunately when users financially support these other sites then it does nothing to help the GPL ecosystem. It doesn’t help pay for new products and it doesn’t pay for license renewals.
