Description
What This Add-On Does
Gravity Forms Discord Add-On sends your form submissions straight into Discord, so your team hears about new leads, orders, or registrations the moment they come in. Instead of checking a WordPress dashboard or an inbox, notifications land in the channel where your team already works. Pair it with any Gravity Forms build — a contact form, a registration flow, a payment form — and route that data to a Discord server without writing custom code to bridge the two systems.
Key Features
- Send form entries to a designated Discord channel automatically on submission
- Works with the Gravity Forms visual editor, so existing forms and field layouts carry over without rebuilding anything
- Respects conditional logic set on the form — only the fields and data relevant to that submission get passed through
- Supports forms built for leads, payments, registrations, and general workflow automation
- Built on GPL licensing, giving you the freedom to modify, extend, or audit the code to match how your server and workflows are configured
- Compatible with file upload fields, so submissions with attachments still trigger notifications correctly
Requirements
- WordPress 6.5 or later
- PHP 7.4 or later
- Gravity Forms plugin installed and active
Current add-on version: 0.1.0-alpha.1. As an alpha release, expect active development and test it on a staging environment before deploying to a production site.
FAQ
Will this add-on notify Discord for every field on my form, even hidden ones?
No. The add-on follows whatever conditional logic you’ve already configured in Gravity Forms. If a field or section is hidden based on a user’s earlier answers, that data won’t be included in the Discord notification, keeping the message focused on what actually applies to that submission.
Do I need a separate Discord bot or server setup to use this?
You’ll need a Discord server where you have permission to configure incoming notifications, since the add-on connects your form to a specific channel there. Beyond that initial connection setup, no ongoing bot management is required — submissions route through automatically once the form is linked.
