Description
What This Add-On Does
Slider Revolution Cymatic Addon adds cymatic wave patterns to your Slider Revolution slides. Cymatics is the study of how sound frequencies shape matter into geometric forms, the same idea behind sand arranging itself into rings and stars on a vibrating plate. The add-on brings that look to the browser as moving, frequency-inspired visuals you can place inside a slide.
It works well in hero sections and slide backgrounds, where a static image or a plain gradient can feel flat. Instead, visitors see patterns that pulse and shift behind your headline and call-to-action layers.
Key Features
- Cymatic wave patterns rendered as part of a Slider Revolution slide
- Geometric, frequency-inspired motion suited to slide backgrounds
- Works inside hero sections, where the first impression is made
- Installs as an add-on, so your existing sliders stay in the editor you already use
- Sits behind text, buttons, and other layers, leaving your content readable
The scope is deliberately narrow. This add-on does one thing, which is to give your slides a distinctive animated pattern, and it leaves the rest of your slider workflow alone.
Where It Fits
Think of music and audio brands, creative studios, event pages, technology and science sites, wellness and meditation projects, or any landing page that wants an abstract, wave-driven backdrop. The visuals suggest sound and vibration without needing a video file or a heavy looping animation.
Because the effect is geometric and symmetrical, it pairs naturally with bold typography and minimal layouts. A large headline over a slowly moving pattern can carry a whole hero section on its own.
What It Works With
This is an extension for Slider Revolution, the slider and visual builder plugin for WordPress. You need Slider Revolution installed to use it. Once active, the cymatic effect becomes available for your slides, and you can combine it with the layers, text, and buttons you already build there.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where would I use the cymatic effect in a slide?
Most people use it as a slide background or behind a hero section. The patterns sit beneath your layers, so headlines, buttons, and images stay in front.
Does Slider Revolution Cymatic Addon work without Slider Revolution?
No. It is an add-on built to extend Slider Revolution, and it has nothing to display on its own. Slider Revolution provides the slides, and this add-on supplies the wave patterns.
Is the add-on licensed under the GPL?
Yes. It is distributed under the GPL, so you can use it on your own sites and modify it within the terms of that license.
